COMPANY OVERVIEW

Environmental Sentry Services International Inc (ESSI) was incorporated in March 2006, by the founder Wayne Bennett. ESSI is a leading edge environmental company that manufactures products and provides services designed to prevent or remediate hydrocarbon contamination. Utilizing recycled tire by-products, typically disposed of at landfills, ESSI’s patented and patent pending technologies have been proven to be more expeditious, efficient, and cost effective than existing technologies.
According to the Alberta Recycling Management Authority, tire recyclers in Alberta process over 5,000,000 tires annually and since 1992 have recycled over 1,500,000 tonnes. From this in exhaustive and inexpensive supply of recycled tires, ESSI acquires the two basic raw materials used in all of our products and services:
1. Alpha – a fine rubber crumb.
2. Bravo – fiber/rubber combination.
These products are both oleophilic (attracts oil) and hydrophobic (repels water) making them useful in filtering hydrocarbons from water.
After we adsorb hydrocarbons with our “Alpha” product it can then be used in the production of asphalt products whereas our “Bravo” product can be remediated and used to replace sand in the production of concrete products.
The ESSI “infused” concrete products are lighter in weight and can be used in many common applications, such as pre-cast paving stones, side walks, driveways, curb stops, sound barriers and highway dividers. The infused concrete product is currently being evaluated as a potential application to cap expired oil/gas wells.
ESSI’s business model is based upon a “cradle to grave” environmental story, utilizing recycled tire products otherwise disposed of at landfills to:
1. Remediate past oil & gas spills and prevent future spills.
2. Manufacture commercial grade filtration systems used in water and soil remediation projects.
3. Remediate used “Alpha” and “Bravo” products and create asphalt and concrete products.
4. Capture hydrocarbons and have them recycled back into commercial petroleum products.
Over the past year, key management positions have been filled and a Board of Directors with industry expertise has been retained to assist ESSI in planning the growth of its business. The new management team and board of directors have worked diligently to develop and commercialize the following three revenue streams: commercial filtration, manufactured retail products and rubberized concrete products.
