Company History
ESSI International was formed in March 2006, by Wayne Bennett, as a service provider of ecologically friendly products designed for remediating hazardous waste produced by Oil & Gas facilities. Utilizing recycled tire by-products, typically disposed at landfills, ESSI International’s patented and patent pending technology has been proven to remediate hydrocarbons in a more expeditious, efficient, and cost effective manner than existing technologies.
ESSI International has successfully taken on a variety of remediation projects within the province of Alberta with overwhelming success. With the success of the service, branch management resolved in early 2007 to create a manufactured products division to further expand its market reach. The new manufacturing division utilizes the same recycled tire components to create a line of environmentally sustainable and recyclable products. These products include wellhead containment bags, containment bags, trucker spill kits, and bagged adsorbent powder.
ESSI International has also been busy expanding its management team which now includes a CEO, Vice President of Environmental Services, Vice President of Manufactured Products, and a Chief Financial Officer.
